Figurative Sculpture Workshop

We are very excited to announce an instructed figurative sculpture workshop on Saturday April 6th at Hipbone Studio.
This one day workshop will be taught by Sofia Salt, a classically trained sculptor, model maker and stop motion animator, We are very lucky to have Sofia available to teach as she finishes her tenure at Laika Animation Studio and, before she returns to her home in Europe. 
This is a beginners  introductory class, geared toward students with little or no sculpting experience, but can also serve as a great refresher course for more experienced artists and a good chance to learn from a practicing professional.
.This will be a one day, Saturday  workshop from 10 am to 5pm, starting in the morning in our new space. Following an intro, students will begin the day by making a relief study in plasticine to help transition from 2d drawing to 3d sculpting. After a
lunch break, the class will continue in the main Hipbone studio in the afternoon with students using armatures and plasticine and working from a live model.

Price for the workshop is  $150 and includes all materials and model fees.
