Figure drawing has been the key element in the training of visual artists for centuries, and continues to be a vital part of an arts education. Whether its, animation, game design, comics, Illustration or the fine arts, drawing the human form from life is a must.
This course is for all experience levels, from absolute beginners to students who want to build their college portfolios. Students will receive one on one instruction on all aspects of figure drawing from the absolute basics such as sharpening and holding pencils to anatomy and structure, foreshortening, design, composition, capturing the gesture and the long term finished drawing. Most importantly, students will be drawing from a life model for 3 hours every day for an entire week, a truly invaluable confidence building experience.
