Comics, Animation & the Graphic Novel : Visual Storytelling Camp

This class covers the fundamentals of visual storytelling which can be applied to comics, the graphic novel, animation and even film and video.

In this course students will develop and carry through a visual story from beginning to end, The week will begin with brainstorming sessions to come up with story ideas followed by storyboarding, character design and the development of a narrative arch. After that, we will be focusing on layout, page design as well as a day dedicated to drawing and Illustrating a book cover, splash pages or poster.
Students will end the week with a blueprint for a complete project that can be expanded, polished, and finished on students own time.
This class is for all levels, no previous experience is necessary or needed,
The only requirement is a strong willingness to learn and work.
