In this course students will learn how to transition from black and white realistic drawing to color painting using the traditional academic practice of grisaille tohelp ease into the often confusing world of paint and color. Students will also be introduced on the basics of color theory, specifically the Munsell color system to help establish a solid foundation which can be applied to a variety of mediums such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel and digital media. This class is recommended for both beginners and those wanting to improve and develop their current abilities.
