Inexpensive Framing Possibilities
Vintage and used frames can be found everywhere for very little or no money, you probably have a few in your own home, ask friends and relatives etc, also, thrift stores and garage sales are a great source with tons of frames and framed art for well under $10. also try https://portland.scrapcreativereuse.org/
something a little different you can try is, instead of doing a painting or drawing and then framing it, maybe find a frame first, then make a work that will fit that frame.
This might be a fun opportunity to try a different approach to making and selling your work.
Another option is a standard sized frame, these are the most common and easy to find,
and you can find them new at https://artsupplycenterpdx.com/ or Ikea for low prices
Standard sizes:
4 x 6, 5 x 7, 8 x10, 11 x 14, 16 x 20 and 18 x 24 inches.
